Event Overview
Cheeky Monkey 24 is a 24-hour endurance event held at Veterans Park in Plain Township, Ohio. Participants can choose to compete as individuals or part of a relay team. The primary objective is to complete as many miles as possible within the 24-hour time limit.

Course Details
The event takes place on a 1 mile loop course that runners navigate in a counter-clockwise direction. The surface consists primarily of hard-packed limestone, similar to a bike and hike trail. The layout begins with a small climb known as Gorilla Hill, followed by a downhill section covering 8/10ths of a mile, and concludes with a gradual uphill segment for the final 1/10th of the loop.
Participation and Logistics
Relay teams have total flexibility in how they manage their mileage. Members may choose to run single loops or multiple miles at a time. Each team is provided with a 10x10 space at the park to set up a tent or team site. Individuals competing in The Lone Ape category must manage a self-supported effort, though water, sports drinks, and snacks are available at a pavilion located approximately 100 meters from the course.
Awards and Amenities
Participants receive an event shirt, a finisher medal, and access to food during the event. Awards are presented to the top teams in various categories, including Open and Masters divisions for men, women, and coed groups. Masters teams must consist entirely of runners aged 40 or older.
