About the race
Cirencester AC’s Chedworth Roman Trail offers two trail races set in the Cotswold countryside near Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The 10-mile (ish) single loop and a newly added 5-mile (ish) loop pass through Stowell Park, the Coln Valley, and close to the Chedworth Roman Villa. It’s a challenging multi-terrain course with undulating tracks, footpaths, fields and a river crossing.
Race HQ and start/finish are at Chedworth Village Hall, 6 miles north of Cirencester. The event features chip timing, parking, refreshments, limited showers and toilets, and awards for top finishers and age categories. It is not suitable for walkers, with a 2h30m limit.
