Chedworth Roman Trail 5m
Scheduled for 10 May 2026, this event is a roughly 5 mile(ish) single lap through Cotswold countryside. The route passes through Stowell Park and the Coln Valley and runs close to Chedworth Roman Villa.
The course uses a variety of undulating tracks, footpaths and fields and includes a river crossing. The route is multi terrain and requires navigation of uneven surfaces.
Race headquarters are at Chedworth Village Hall, GL54 4NQ, and also serve as the start and finish location. Chedworth village lies about six miles north of Cirencester. Parking, refreshments, limited showers and toilets are available at the venue.
Online entries are open and close at 12 noon on 5 May. Total places are limited to 500. Entry fees listed by the organiser are £10 for UKA affiliated clubs and £12 for unaffiliated entrants. A race licence has been applied for.
Canicross entrants will not be accepted. The event is not suitable for walkers and a maximum finishing time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes applies. Awards are planned for the first three males and first three females, age categories MV40 to MV70 and FV40 to FV70, and for the first male and female teams.
