CHCF Hispanic Heritage 5K Run/Walk : October 3, 2026
The CHCF Hispanic Heritage 5K Run/Walk is a community 5-kilometer event held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options and acknowledges the Munsee Lenape, Matinecock, and Canarsie lands where the park is located.
The certified 5K course passes near the Fountain of the Planets and the Queens Theater. Parking is listed at the Queens Museum on Meridian Road with a walk to the Queens Theater area. Finishers receive a finishing medal and participants can view live, text, or email results.
Event amenities include free finish line photos, on-site hydration at the finish, and refreshments supplied by Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from the start and finish. An informal area will be available to leave belongings; the event organization does not accept responsibility for personal items.
Registration is available for in-person and virtual entries. Virtual participants may log times and upload photos during the window from October 3 to October 10; virtual entries may not include a bib or swag. Personalized bibs are available if registration is completed about three weeks before the event; a bib-mailing option is offered for an additional fee. Registration fees are non-refundable. Team registration and optional donations are also available.
