CHCF Hispanic Heritage 5K Run/Walk : October 3, 2026
This event is a 5K run/walk held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. The course starts and finishes near the Fountain of the Planets and visits multiple areas of the park; a USATF certified course map is available. Parking is listed at the Queens Museum, Building, Meridian Road, with a walk to the Queens Theater from the parking area.

Participants who register early may receive a personalized bib if registered three weeks in advance, and there is an option to have a bib mailed before the event for an extra fee. Finishers receive a finishing medal. Amenities include live text and email results, free finish-line photos, on-site hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bathrooms are a few minutes walk from start and finish. An informal area will be available to leave belongings; the event organization does not accept responsibility for personal items.
Age group recognition is awarded to top finishers overall and in multiple age brackets. Registration fees are non-refundable. A purchase protection option is offered separately to cover certain unforeseen circumstances.
