About the race
The Chattahoochee Road Race takes place in Atlanta, GA on March 20, 2027. The event offers two road race distances on a mostly flat course with a 0.75 mile downhill finish. Organizers note runners can expect negative splits from the first half to the last half of the distance and that the event serves as a Peachtree Road Race seeded qualifier.

- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
5K and 10K finishers receive a custom 3" finisher medal. Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K; registration opens on August 14, 2026 and closes December 31, 2026. No day-of-race registration will be offered. A limited "no shirt" option and youth pricing for ages 12 and under are available; an early discount for the no-shirt option is limited to the first 25 registrants per event.
Packet pickup is scheduled on the days before and the morning of the race at local stores and near the finish line; pickup may include shirt and bib collection for another person. Transfers between distances are allowed before race day; moving from 5K to 10K requires payment of the price difference, while 10K to 5K transfers are free.
The event includes a raffle for a bicycle (approximate value $1,000). Raffle entry counts vary by registration date, with additional chances for current club members and for referrals. Post-race offerings include soup and grilled cheese, a beer garden for those 21 and over, and free finisher photos.
