Chastain Chase 5K - Celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day
The Chastain Chase is a community event in Chastain Park, Atlanta, held to mark National Cancer Survivors Day. The program includes a 5K run and a 1.5 mile Survivor Walk and benefits Cancer Support Community Atlanta, a nonprofit affiliated with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute.
Participants run or walk a course through historic Chastain Park. The event welcomes families and strollers. Participants are encouraged to form teams of friends, family members, and coworkers to walk or run together in honor of people affected by cancer.

Registration information from the organizer lists opening and closing dates and fees: 5K registration opens March 15 and closes May 6 with a fee of $30; Survivor Walk registration opens May 4 and closes June 7 with a fee of $35. Walk-up registration on the day of the event is noted.
