Chasing the Sun Endurance Run : Robinson Preserve, Bradenton FL
Chasing the Sun is a multi loop trail running event held at Robinson Preserve in Bradenton, Florida on 10/10/2026. The course passes through coastal scenery and wildlife areas and runs on pavement, sand, and shell, with a majority on sand and shell.
Entrants can choose from several event formats and distances:
- 4.35 mile loop
- 13.1 miles (half marathon) multi loop
- 26.2 miles (full marathon) multi loop
- 31.1 miles (50k) multi loop
- Team relay with 2 to 8 members switching each loop
- All day endurance challenge
Trail shoes are suggested and gaiters are recommended. Except for the 4.35 mile single loop, all runners are required to start with a water container such as a bottle, belt, hand held, or vest. On-course support includes a first aid station at the 2 mile mark offering water, Gatorade, soda, and snacks, and a self-serve water stop around mile 3. Finishers and athletes continuing loops will have water and snacks at the finish area, and a self-serve station is available near the restrooms on passing the start/finish.
T shirts are available as an add-on. All finishers receive a medal plus snacks and post-race food and drinks. Additional services include ice baths, massage, and food trucks. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each event, with larger finisher medals for the marathon, 50k, and all day categories.
Participants are asked to carry trash to the next aid station and not leave gel packs or bottles on the ground. Sponsors, a charity partner, and partner hotels will be announced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
