Chasing Dreams 5K & 10K Race Benefiting Running Down A Dream
The event on July 19, 2026 takes place at Martin Luther King Park in San Antonio, TX. It offers two in-person distances and virtual options for participants who cannot attend onsite.

- 6.2 miles (10K)
Both in-person races are chip-timed. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group: 14 & under; 15–24; 25–34; 35–44; 45–54; 55–64; 65–74; 75 & over. Participant amenities for in-person races include a custom finisher medal, a patriotic race shirt, post-race refreshments, a recovery area, and access to a post-race celebration with music, food trucks, and vendors. The course will include water stops located between miles 1.25 and 1.5 for both distances, and an additional water stop between miles 4.3 and 4.6 for the 10K.
Packet pickup is scheduled at The Newstand Coffee, 1900 Broadway Ste 106, San Antonio, on Friday, July 17, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Packets will contain race bibs, basic race information, and event items.
The event is rain-or-shine. In the event of lightning or thunder, organizers will monitor conditions and may delay the start up to 1 hour from the most recent occurrence to ensure participant safety.
