Chase The Sun Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5K & 10K
The event takes place on Wednesday 11 August 2027 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - North Park. It offers two measured distances and a mostly flat course with an elevation gain of around 8 m, routed through North Park.

Each kilometre is clearly marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned along the route to guide and support participants. Results are chip timed. Entry includes a themed medal, free race photos, post race goodies and a bag drop located inside the Timber Lodge.
An event village is based at Timberlodge Cafe with on-site toilets and food and drink options. Water is provided at the 2.5 km point and again at the finish. Race packs are collected from the event village on race day. Paid parking is available at Westfield Stratford City and the park is also accessible from Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill and Leyton stations; cycle parking is available in the park.
Minimum ages apply for each distance: 10 km from 15 years and 5 km from 11 years. The event notes accessibility for buggy runners and wheelchair athletes, with a request that they remain mindful of other participants when overtaking.
