Chase The Sun Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5K & 10K
This event takes place on 9 June 2027 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - North Park. There are two distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The course runs through North Park and has an elevation gain of 8 m. Each kilometre is clearly marked and marshals will be positioned along the route to guide and support participants. Results are chip timed.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, post race goodies and a bag drop. The bag drop is located inside Timber Lodge, Room B. On-site toilets are available at Timberlodge Cafe in the Event Village. Water is provided at the 2.5 km point and again at the finish.
Minimum ages are 11 for the 5 km and 15 for the 10 km. The Event Village offers food and drink options and cycle parking is available in the park. Paid parking is available at Westfield Stratford City. The nearest rail and tube stations are Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill and Leyton.
Race packs are collected from the Event Village on the day; participants should bring their booking confirmation and photo ID. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and advised to remain mindful of other participants when overtaking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
