Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk - Simpsonville, SC
Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk is a 5K event on March 14, 2026 at Bridgeway Station, 1000 Via Corso Avenue, Simpsonville, SC. Donations and race proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. The event is presented as a run/walk with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Included with registration are a finisher medal, a personalized race bib, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race party. The finish area includes a free beer offering for participants aged 21 and over. The event offers a tour of Bridgeway Station and the Swamp Rabbit Trail as part of the festivities.
The course is described as flat and fast. Timing is chip based with live results for age group scoring; overall awards use gun time for the top three male and female finishers. Age group awards are given 1st through 3rd in male and female categories, and age group categories range from 0-9 up to 80+. Top age group finishers also earn points toward the Upstate Brew Series.
Race operations include a corral system with 60-second interval starts and a packet pickup period beginning one hour before the race at Bridgeway Station. Volunteer shifts of three hours are eligible to earn a free entry to Upstate Race Series-owned events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
