Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk is a 5K event scheduled for March 14, 2026 at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina (1000 Via Corso Avenue). The race is part of the Upstate Race Series presented by Snyder Construction. Donations and race proceeds will support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team.
Race details and policies
Included with registration are a finisher medal, a custom race bib, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race party, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, and a tour of Holland Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The finish area offers free beer. The event uses chip timing with live results and awards age group medals; overall top three male and female awards use gun time. The course is described as flat and fast. Runners will be placed in corrals with 60-second intervals; stated corral groupings are under 25 minutes, 25 to 30 minutes, and over 35 minutes.
Registration pricing listed on the event page shows $19 (strikethrough $35) and a youth rate of $15 for ages 1–17, with a price increase after January 6, 2026. Registration policies allow entry transfers, distance changes, and a 15% discount for Upstate Running Club members; referring two runners yields a $5 refund. Race shirts are sold separately.
