Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for March 14, 2026 at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina (1000 Via Corso Avenue). The event is a 5K run/walk and part of the Upstate Race Series. Donations and race proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. Current registration price listed is $19, with a youth price of $15 for ages 1–17. The price increases after January 6, 2026. Vendor and sponsorship spaces are offered for a fee and close March 13, 2026.
Included items, format and awards
Registration includes a tour of Holland Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a finisher medal, a custom race bib, event giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race party (Bridgeway Brewing Co is noted as a post-race location). The course is described as flat and fast and starts at the Bridgeway Station entrance, crossing the Bridgeway Station Bridge. Chip timing with live results is used; age group awards use chip timing and overall awards note gun-time for overall top finishers. Runners will be assigned corrals with 60-second intervals; corral bands are indicated by target finish times (under 25 minutes, 25–30 minutes, over 35 minutes). Overall top three male and female finishers receive trophies and age group places 1–3 receive medals. Volunteers who work a three-hour shift may earn a free entry to an Upstate Race Series-owned event. Refunds and deferrals are not offered unless the event sells out.
