Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for March 14, 2026 at Bridgeway Station, 1000 Via Corso Avenue, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The event is a 5K run/walk and is part of the Upstate Race Series presented by Snyder Construction. Donations and race proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. The course starts at the Bridgeway Station entrance, crosses the Bridgeway Station Bridge, and is described as flat and fast. The event includes a tour of Bridgeway Station and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. A post-race celebration is held at Bridgeway Brewing Co.
Timing, awards and included items
The event uses chip timing with live results. Corrals are organized with 60-second intervals; chip timing is used for age group awards and gun time is used for overall top three finishers. Top three overall male and female finishers receive trophies. Age group awards are given to first through third place in each category. Age group categories range from 0–9 up to 80+. Registration includes a finisher medal, custom race bib, age group medals, complimentary race photos, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, music and a post-race party, and free beer at the finish.
