Chase The Moon Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5K and 10K
This evening event takes place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park North Park and offers two measured distances for timed results.
The course runs through North Park on a flat and fast layout with 8 m of elevation gain. Each kilometre is clearly marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned along the route. The event is chip timed and includes free race photos, a unique themed medal and post race goodies. Water is provided at the 2.5 km point and again at the finish.
Practical facilities include an event village with food and drink options, on site toilets at Timberlodge Cafe, and a bag drop located inside Timber Lodge Room B. Cycle parking is available in the park. The organiser lists paid parking at Westfield Stratford City and several nearby stations for public transport including Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill and Leyton.
Minimum ages apply for entry: 10K minimum age 15, 5K minimum age 11. The event welcomes buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and asks participants to be mindful of others when overtaking.
