Chase the Dream 5K and Fun Run

The Chase the Dream 5K and Fun Run takes place in Winston Salem on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with Bailey Park serving as the event site. The course is an out and back route described as glow in the dark and both the start and finish are at Bailey Park. The event includes two distances:

5K Run/Walk
1 Mile Fun Run

All proceeds support the Dream Center. The Dream Center provides resources such as food and clothing assistance, counseling, long term guidance, and other restorative programs, and works in partnership with local churches and businesses.

The event offers special pricing options: a $10 discount for participants age 12 and younger on the 5K, and a group pricing option for 5K teams of four registering for the price of three (a stated $35 savings). T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed before May 15. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, with a stated range from $250 to $5,000.

Packet pickup is offered the day before at the Dream Center of Forsyth County and on race day at Bailey Park. Course maps for the 5K and the fun run are provided as downloadable materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
