Flying Colors Charity 5K and Fun Run
The PACU Foundation organizes a charity event at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, NC on 06/13/2026. The in-person program includes a timed 5K and an untimed fun run/walk where participants are doused with food-based color powder at multiple points on the course. Participants receive an event t-shirt that will appear tie-dyed by the end of the run. The event also features games, face art, a bubble station, and access to local food trucks.

- Virtual 5K option with mailed items
Registration and logistics notes: registration opens 02/21/2026 and some in-person registration closes 05/15/2026, with a later registration deadline for the virtual option. Fees listed in the event information include $50 for the timed 5K, $20 for the 1.5 mile fun run/walk, and $50 for the virtual 5K. Packets for participants registered by 06/01/2026 will be available for pickup at a named credit union branch in Winston-Salem; others may collect packets on the day of the event at the registration table. For the 1.5 mile untimed option, minors 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult throughout the course. No pets are allowed at the event.
