Flying Colors Charity 5K and Fun Run
The PACU Foundation presents the Flying Colors Charity 5K and Fun Run at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, NC on 06/13/2026. The event features color powder stations where participants are doused with safe, food based powder along the course for both the timed 5K and the untimed fun run. A virtual 5K option is available for those participating remotely.
Event distances and options include:
- 5K timed run
- 1.5 miles untimed fun run or walk, minors 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult throughout the course
- Virtual 5K with event t shirt and wristband sent to the registrant's physical address
Participants receive an event t shirt that will show color by the end of the run. Packets for those registered by 06/01/2026 will be available for pickup at Piedmont Advantage Credit Union in Winston Salem; participants registered after that date or unable to pick up earlier may collect packets on event day at the registration table. T shirts are subject to availability for registrations placed after 05/15/2026.
The event also includes games, face art, a bubble station, and access to local food trucks. No pets are allowed. The PACU Foundation directs charitable giving to support financial literacy, education and training, and disaster and emergency assistance for residents facing financial hardship in the Triad and Charlotte communities.
