Charlottesville Turkey Trot 5k
The Charlottesville Turkey Trot 5k is scheduled for November 26, 2026, with the race start and finish next to Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, VA. The course runs through neighborhood streets and includes flat stretches and gentle rolling hills with 133 feet of elevation gain.

Registration opens September 1 and closes September 29 with a base fee of $35. Late registration the days before the event increases the fee to $48. Registration includes a soft technical race t-shirt while supplies last; registration by October 26 guarantees a race shirt in the requested size.
Packet pickup takes place at Connect Church on the two days before the race and there is race day packet pickup at Albemarle High School. Ample parking is available at Albemarle High School, Journey Middle School, and Greer Elementary. Chip timing is provided by Blue Ridge Timing. Local Albemarle EMT medical services will be on site.
The event supports the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry. Loaves & Fishes is located on the race route and distributes free groceries to families and individuals up to two times per month. No race refunds or deferrals. No dogs on the course.
