Charlottesville Ten Miler
The Charlottesville Ten Miler is a road running event held in historic downtown Charlottesville, Virginia. The race covers 10 miles on a course that winds through the city, passing historic landmarks and residential neighborhoods. The finish area is at the University of Virginia Scott Stadium, where a finish line festival offers refreshments and post-race activities.
The event is organized by the Charlottesville Track Club and supports local beneficiaries; the 2027 beneficiaries will be announced in late August. The race also offers a virtual option: registered virtual participants may complete the ten miles between March 27 and March 31, 2027.
Registration opens August 30, 2026, and is offered in multiple periods: Early Bird (August 30 - September 30, 2026), Early (October 1 - December 31, 2026), Regular (January 1 - February 28, 2027), and Last-Minute (March 1 - March 27, 2027).
Volunteers help with tasks such as packet pickup and staffing water stations along the course. Spectators and volunteer support are provided along the route.
