Charlotte's Beat Lives On 5k
This event is a community 5K taking place in Brunswick, GA on October 31. The in-person course is a timed 3.1 mile race and a virtual 5K option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person.

In-person registration opens June 1 and closes September 1 with a registration fee of $30. The virtual option opens registration September 14 and closes October 19 with a registration fee of $40. All registered participants will receive a T-shirt; registration by October 17 is required to be guaranteed a shirt.
The event honors the memory of a twelve-year-old who died from a rare genetic heart condition and supports related community safety efforts. Funds raised will help provide AED defibrillators to Glynn County venues that host youth sports and events. A portion of proceeds will also support Safe Harbor to provide resources and space for youth programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
