Charlesworth Chase

The Charlesworth Chase is a challenging fell running event held in Appletreewick, North Yorkshire. Covering a distance of 5.2 miles with an ascent of 1,200 feet, the race starts from the Craven Arms and follows a scenic route along roads, fields, and tracks beside the river to Howgill. Runners then ascend a forest road, cut through trees onto a rough path, and make a direct climb to Simons Seat, touching the trig point before returning to the start.
