Chargers 5K : Columbia State Williamson Campus
The Chargers 5K is a community benefit event held on March 21, 2026, at Columbia State’s Williamson Campus in Franklin, Tennessee. The program includes a 5K race, a one mile Chargers Walk, and the Chargers Trot for children up to age 10. The Chargers Trot and a kids zone feature games, activities, balloon art, and ribbons for participating children. A parent or caregiver must remain with children during on-site activities.
The event raises funds to support Columbia State students at the Williamson Campus. Medals are awarded to all participants who complete the 5K, with additional awards for first, second, and third place finishers. Walk participants receive a ribbon, and 5K entrants may join the walk at no additional cost. T-shirt availability varies by registration period.
Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled the week before the event in the lobby of the Arts and Technology Building. Registration pricing varies by date, including early, regular, and day-of fees; T-shirt availability depends on the registration window and supply. The 5K course starts and finishes on the Williamson Campus and follows campus and nearby streets including Liberty Pike, Turning Wheel Lane, Ovation Parkway, and Knoll Top Lane. Course layout is subject to change without notice. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
