Minneapolis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Minneapolis is scheduled for November 7, 2026, at Boom Island Park. The event offers multiple race distances and a riverfront course that runs alongside the Mississippi River and passes landmarks such as Boom Island, Saint Anthony Falls, Merriam Street Bridge, and Stone Arch Bridge.

The course is professionally managed and races are professionally timed. A post race party at Boom Island Park features music, vendors, and a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. An expo and packet pickup take place the day before at Royalston Square; the expo is free and open to the public. Packet mailing is available with a deadline of October 18, 2026, and there is no race day packet pickup.
Registration includes a full-zip jacket and a finisher's medal. Free high-resolution photos and individual race times are emailed to participants, and live runner tracking is available. The Ghirardelli Cocoa Club is an optional VIP upgrade that adds Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa, a shopping bag with single-serve cocoa, a store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area before and after the event, a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, dedicated restrooms, and extra dippables.
Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with cash prizes and free registration for the following year; age group awards offer registration discounts and patches for top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
