Minneapolis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Minneapolis is scheduled for November 7, 2026. The event features multiple distance options through the downtown area, with the start and finish lines located at Boom Island Park. The race routes follow the Mississippi River, providing participants with views of the downtown and uptown skylines.
Participants can choose from three different race distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
The courses are professionally managed and timed. Notable landmarks along the route include Saint Anthony Falls, the Merriam Street Bridge, and the Stone Arch Bridge. Live runner tracking is available, allowing friends and family to receive updates during the event.
Every registered participant receives a race kit that includes a full-zip jacket and a commemorative finisher's medal. Upon completing the course, runners have access to a post-race party at Boom Island Park featuring music, vendors, and a finisher's mug filled with hot chocolate, chocolate fondue, and various dippables.
An expo is held on the day prior to the race at Royalston Square for packet pickup. There is no packet pickup available on the day of the race, though participants may opt for packet mailing during the registration process for an additional fee. Overall awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, and age group awards are available for various categories ranging from under 14 to 80 and over.
