Minneapolis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Minneapolis takes place on November 14, 2026 at Boom Island Park. The event offers three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course runs along the Mississippi River and passes local landmarks including Boom Island, Saint Anthony Falls, Merriam Street Bridge, and the Stone Arch Bridge. The route provides views of both downtown and uptown Minneapolis.
Every registrant receives a swag kit that includes a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. Finishers receive a Chocoholic mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate at the post race party, which also features music and vendors. Free high-resolution race photos and individual race times are emailed to participants. Live runner tracking will be available via sign-up the week of the race.
A paid VIP upgrade, the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club, includes Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a canvas tote with single-serve cocoa, a $35 hot chocolate store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated club area before and after the event, and an upgraded onsite experience with a hot breakfast item and dedicated restrooms.
Expo and packet pick-up is scheduled for November 13 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Ballroom A & B. There is no race day packet pick-up.
