Minneapolis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run takes place in Minneapolis at Boom Island Park on November 7, 2026. The event features multiple course distances for participants to choose from:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
The route is professionally managed and timed, starting at Boom Island Park and running alongside the Mississippi River. Participants pass several local landmarks, including Saint Anthony Falls, the Merriam Street Bridge, and the Stone Arch Bridge, with views of the downtown and uptown areas.
All registrants receive a race kit that includes a full-zip jacket, a commemorative race bib, and a finisher's medal. High-resolution race photos are provided to participants at no additional cost. Following the finish line, a post-race party is held at Boom Island Park. This celebration features music, vendor booths, and a finisher's mug containing hot chocolate, chocolate fondue, and various dippables.
An optional upgrade is available through the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club. This VIP experience includes perks such as preferred corral placement, a dedicated lounge area with heaters and restrooms, a hot breakfast item, and a shopping bag with hot cocoa to take home.
A pre-race expo and packet pickup is held on November 6 at Royalston Square. The expo is free to the public and offers merchandise and vendor displays. There is no packet pickup available on the day of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
