Minneapolis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run takes place in Minneapolis on November 14, 2026, with the start area at Boom Island Park and a course that runs alongside the Mississippi River. The route highlights include Boom Island, Saint Anthony Falls, Merriam Street Bridge, and Stone Arch Bridge, with views of downtown and uptown.

Race registrations include a swag kit with a full-zip jacket and a finisher's medal. The event provides professionally managed courses, race timing, free high resolution finish photos sent to participants, and live runner tracking for those who opt in.
A Hot Chocolate Expo and packet pick up are scheduled the day before the race at the Minneapolis Convention Center; packets can also be mailed for an additional fee within the event deadline. There is no race day packet pick up. The post race party at Boom Island Park includes a finisher mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate, plus music and vendors.
Awards are given to overall and age group top finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 15K, with monetary prizes for overall places and registration incentives for age group placers. A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade offers a VIP area, premium hot cocoa, a store credit, preferred corral placement, and upgraded onsite amenities.
