The Changing Seasons 5K
The Changing Seasons 5K takes place in Idaho Falls on June 6, 2026. The event is a 3.1 miles running race organized by the Idaho Falls Chukars and Idaho Falls Spud Kings.
The course begins at the Mountain America Center, continues through the neighborhoods of Snake River Landing, and follows the Snake River Greenbelt. Runners finish at Melaleuca Field and cross home plate, a feature noted for its history of hosting professional baseball players.
Registration carries a fee of $30. Registration opens on November 27, 2025 and closes on January 26, 2026.
The Idaho Falls Chukars and Idaho Falls Spud Kings have partnered with Special Olympics Idaho as the benefactor for the race. Special Olympics Idaho aims to promote inclusion and supports individuals with intellectual disabilities across Idaho to discover strengths, build friendships, and pursue achievements both on and off the field.
