Duck Donuthon
The Duck Donuthon on June 20, 2026 is a family-oriented event at McCowin Park in Ammon, Idaho that combines running with an eating competition. The event offers multiple distances and repeats a short run segment followed by a donut-eating station until the distance is complete.
The course uses some grass and a loop around the bike path. A designated "pig pen" area with music serves as the donut station; participants enter the pen, take a donut, eat it until their mouth is empty, then return to the start/finish area and repeat the run-and-eat sequence until they have completed the required number of laps and donuts. The Duck Donuts mascot will be present.
Distances and basics
- Lil Ducky - Run 1 mile then eat 1 donut; finisher award.
- Hungry Ducky - Run 3 miles and eat 3 donuts; chip timing and awards.
- Crazy Ducky - Run 6 miles and eat 6 donuts; chip timing and awards.
- Ducky Beast - Run 13 miles and eat 13 donuts; chip timing and awards.
Timed events use chip timing and include awards for the fastest male and female participants. All participants receive a coupon to redeem a free Duck Donuts donut after a short recovery period.
