Champlain Bridge 5K - 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The LaChute Road Runners Club presents a scenic running event at Crown Point State Historic Site and Crown Point DEC Campsite, 21 Grandview Drive, Crown Point, New York. The main course is a 5K cross-country route that travels through trails, roads, and fields, with a start near the campground lighthouse and a section that goes under the bridge along a trail. A 2 Mile Fun Run and Walk follows part of the same scenic route and begins near the bridge and fort on the historic site.

Registration opens June 15 and closes September 1. The standard registration fee is $25.00. A private donor has waived the registration fee for students 18 and under; students must still register by September 1 to receive a free T-shirt. Shirts are provided only to participants who pre-register before September 1.
Awards apply to 5K participants only and include first through third place in each male and female age category plus overall male and female awards. On-site facilities include bathrooms near the Picnic Pavilion and a water station on course. Online safety resources will be available at the Picnic Pavilion through the Prevention Team Safe Harbour NY Ambassadors for Essex County.
