Events and Registration
The event includes a certified 5K run, walk, or roll, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Registration for the 5K is $25, with a price increase after February 27, 2026. The 1 Mile Fun Run is free.
Groups of five or more people can register for a discounted rate of $20 per person. A team registration option is available, and groups can be set up through the registration website or by contacting an event organizer.
Theme and Awards
This is a superhero-themed event. Awards are given for both teams and individuals.
Group prizes are awarded for the largest number of participants in the following categories: family, sorority/fraternity, business, school, and church. Additional team awards are given for Best Team Costume and Most Team Spirited.
Individual age-group awards are presented for male and female participants in the following categories: overall (0-49), masters (50+), and specific age groups from 9 and under up to 70+. There are also separate costume awards for best-dressed adult male, adult female, and child.

The event benefits The Champions Center for special children. This organization provides daily care, education, and therapy services to children with different abilities and special needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other conditions.
