About the Event
The Champions Run for Special Children is a superhero-themed running event in its 12th anniversary year. It takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Anderson, South Carolina. The event benefits The Champions Center, which provides daily care, education, and therapy for children with various conditions, including autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.

Awards and Prizes
The event presents individual and team awards. Group prizes are awarded for the largest number of participants in categories such as family, business, school, or church. Additional categories include Best Team Costume and Most Team Spirited.
Individual awards are given for both male and female participants in overall, masters, and multiple age group categories. There are also prizes for Best Costume for adult male, adult female, and child.
