Champion Paws 5K
The Champion Paws 5K takes place at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tennessee. This event marks the fifth edition of the race and is open to runners, walkers, and dogs. The course is measured by the Memphis Runners Track Club and holds a USA Track & Field certification. Professionals from the Memphis Runners Track Club provide timing services for the race.

Participants receive finisher medals upon completion. Custom awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in several categories, including overall winners, Masters (40+), and Grandmasters (50+). Additionally, awards are given to the top three male and female finishers across various age groups, ranging from age 9 and under to 70 and older.
Those who register by September 12, 2026, are guaranteed a participant shirt in their preferred size and style, with both long sleeve and short sleeve options available. For registration after this date, shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If shirts are unavailable on race day, a second order is placed for remaining participants.
The event serves as a fundraiser for Team Memphis Rescue & Support, a non-profit organization focused on helping abandoned and neglected pets.
