Champion Paws 5K - Memphis, TN
The Champion Paws 5K takes place on October 3, 2026, at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tennessee. The event features a running race of 3.1 miles (5K) and an expo with vendor booths.
The race route is measured by MRTC and is USA Track & Field certified. The event is professionally timed by Memphis Runners Track Club and is owned and directed by Midsouth Runners.
Beneficiary support goes to Team Memphis Rescue & Support, a 501C3 non-profit all-breed rescue group that helps abandoned, neglected, and lost pets. The organization relies on volunteers, fosters, and donations to carry out its work.
Awards include finisher medals for participants and custom awards for winners. Overall awards are given to male and female winners, with Masters 40+ and Grandmasters 50+ categories also recognized. Top three male and female finishers are awarded within a sequence of age groups from 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, and by five year increments up to 70 and over.
Participants choose a long sleeve or short sleeve race shirt. To be guaranteed a preferred shirt size and style, registration must be completed by September 12, 2026.
