Chad Lovette Memorial Trail Run
The Chad Lovette Memorial Trail Run takes place on September 26, 2026 in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, at Cub Creek Park. The event features in-person trail runs and a virtual run/walk option.

- 3.1 Miles : 5K Timed Trail Run with walkers on the trail
- 6.2 Miles : 10K Timed Trail Run
- 3.1 Miles : 5K Untimed Trail Walk for all ages
- Virtual Run/Walk of your choice
Registration opens June 17, 2026. The standard entry fee is $30. Online registration deadlines are in late September; the virtual option remains active through October 4 to allow continued donations.
Timing and event services include chip timing and RaceResult equipment. Race bibs will carry two RFID tags; participants are advised that folding or crinkling tagged bibs can damage the tags and affect timing. Signs with race-specific QR codes will be posted near the start/finish area to provide near-live results access.
Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and the associated Relay for Life team. A donation of $150 or more earns a name on the back of the race T-shirt and two complimentary T-shirts. Afterparty plans will be announced later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
