Aid stations supply a variety of foods and drinks such as energy gels and chews, stroopwafels, trail mix, pretzels, chips, cookies, soda, water, sports hydration mix, sandwiches, fruit, salt tablets, and basic first aid items; anti inflammatory medicine is not provided. Runners are encouraged to carry at least one 20 ounce bottle. The 50K has an 8.5 hour time limit. Race capacity is 500 runners across all distances.
All finishers receive a custom medal and the 50K finisher receives a pint glass with the race logo. Top finishers receive trophies and sponsor items. Age group awards are given three deep across specified age categories. Volunteers receive a race shirt, food, and credit toward future events for hours worked. Entry fees are non refundable; a 50 percent credit toward a future Inside Trail Racing event may be issued for cancellations made at least three weeks before the race.
