CFA Turkey Trot
The CFA Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, in Bismarck, North Dakota. The event uses the theme "Breathe Together: Every Step Counts. Every Breath Matters. Together we Run." It is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser and supports individuals and families living with cystic fibrosis in North Dakota.
The event program includes the following 5K options:
- 5K computer-timed run
- 5K computer-timed race walk
- 5K family fun walk, non-timed
- 5K virtual race
A planned 10K will not be held this year due to rail bridge construction.
Packet pick-up locations and times are announced: CFA Office at 107 W. Main Ave, Suite 150 during Thanksgiving week, Dick’s Sporting Goods on the day before the event, and race day pick-up at the Elks Club. Participants who register by November 1 are guaranteed a long-sleeve T-shirt; afterward shirts are available while supplies last.
Registration is online only. Pricing for 5K timed events is tiered by date: early bird $35, standard $40, late $45. The Family Fun Walk is $30 through race day. Online registration remains open on race morning until a stated cutoff. Registration changes can be made through November 25. All registrations are non-refundable.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best-dressed and most spirited participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
