CFA Turkey Trot
The CFA Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving running event in Bismarck, North Dakota, that raises funds for individuals and families living with cystic fibrosis in the state. The event includes in-person and virtual options and is listed for late November; the 2026 edition is scheduled for November 26, 2026.
Event formats include a computer-timed 5K run, a computer-timed 5K race walk, a non-timed 5K family fun walk, and a virtual 5K. A 10K event is not being held this year due to rail bridge construction. Family categories include a walk option for young children with specific shirt policies.

Registration is online only; pricing for timed 5K events varies by registration period, and a family fun walk option has a separate fee through race day. T-shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations by early November and is first-come, first-served afterward.
