Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk
The Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk is a community fundraising event held in Central Islip, NY. The course begins at a crosswalk on Court House Drive across from the Islip Town Fire Museum. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event date.

Event amenities listed by the organizer include a T-shirt for the first 200 registrants, finisher medals for the first 100 finishers, live/text/email results, free finish-line photos, and personalized bibs for participants who register at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on the day of the event; a self-lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number.
Awards are planned for the top three male and female overall finishers. Online recognition is also intended for the top three male and female first responders and for the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 & under, 13-16, 17-20, 21-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55+.
