Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run/walk held in May in Central Islip, New York, at Court House Drive across from the Islip Town Fire Museum. A free Kids Fun Run is also offered.

Registration is not yet open; registration will open ahead of the event date listed on the event page. The event raises funds for the Central Islip Fire Department.
Amenities listed for participants include a T-shirt for the first 200 registrants, finisher medals for the first 100 finishers, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks before the event.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers. Additional recognition is planned online for top three male and female first responders and for top three male and female finishers in age groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-20, 21-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55+.
For bib pickup participants should consult event staff on the day of the event. If a registrant does not know their bib number there is a Self Lookup area. Registrations made within 24 hours of bib pickup may receive a bib number by text within 90 seconds or via the event bib lookup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
