Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk
The Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event held in Central Islip, New York. The event takes place on Court House Drive, situated across from the Islip Town Fire Museum. This community race welcomes participants of various ages and includes the following options:

- Kids Fun Run
The race proceeds benefit the Central Islip Fire Department. The course begins at the local crosswalk and the event is held rain or shine. Participants can choose to register as individuals or form teams with friends and family.
Registered participants receive several amenities based on registration timing and finishing order. The first 200 individuals to register are provided with a T-shirt, and those who register at least three weeks before the event will have their names printed on their race bibs. Every participant has access to live online, email, or text results, along with free finish line photographs and video.
Awards are recognized for the top three male and female finishers in the overall category. Online recognition is also provided for the top three male and female participants in the first responder category and various age groups ranging from 12 and under to 55 and over.
