Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run/walk held in Central Islip, New York, with a separate free kids fun run. The course begins at a crosswalk on Court House Drive across from the Islip Town Fire Museum, and a mapped route is available on MapMyRun.
Registration is currently not open. Personalized bibs are offered to participants who register at least three weeks before the event.

Bib pickup is managed by event staff beginning one hour before the event start time; a self-lookup area is available for those who do not know their bib number.
Awards and recognition include top three men and women overall, top three men and women among first responders, and top three men and women in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-20, 21-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55 plus.
