Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk
The Central Islip Fire Department 5K Run/Walk is a community fundraising event held in Central Islip, NY. The course starts at the crosswalk on Court House Drive across from the Islip Town Fire Museum. Route details are available on MapMyRun.
A free Kids Fun Run is part of the event. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the listed event date.
Amenities include a T shirt for the first 200 registrants, a finisher medal for the first 100 finishers, live, text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrants who register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to the top 3 male and female overall. Online recognition will list the top 3 male and female first responder and the top 3 male and female in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 16, 17 to 20, 21 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, and 55 plus.
Bib pickup is managed by event staff on race day. A Self Lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number. Registrants who register within 24 hours of bib pickup will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds or can use Bib Lookup.
