Center Harbor Footrace 2026
The Center Harbor Footrace is held in Center Harbor, New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee as part of the town's July 4 activities. This event is the 46th annual running and takes place from the Center Harbor Town Hall at 36 Main Street.
Racing offerings include:
- 1.776 mile adult race
- 5 mile adult race
- Baby Crawl and Kids Races for ages baby to 12
Granite State Racing Services provides automatic chip timing, and race results will be available to participants on their phones shortly after they finish. Chip bibs are coded to each runner and race; bibs must be worn on the front of the chest and should not be switched between runners or events. For adult races, faster runners are requested to position themselves toward the front of the pack. Main Street will be closed to traffic for the event.
Registration is required online for all participants. Children's races are free but still require online registration. To have a name printed on a race T-shirt and to guarantee a shirt at pre-registration, participants must register by May 29; remaining shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fee structure listed by the organizer includes early, late, and race-day pricing. All registrations and packet pick-ups occur at the Center Harbor Town Hall. Prize ribbons are awarded to all children's race participants, and awards for adult races take place at the bandstand after the final runners finish.
