Center Harbor Footrace 2026
The Center Harbor Footrace returns to Center Harbor, New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee as the 46th annual July 4 event organized by Center Harbor Parks and Recreation. The program includes a Baby Crawl, kids races, and two adult road races. Granite State Racing Services will provide automatic chip timing and race results will be available on phones shortly after finish.
Registration is online and children and adults must register to participate. Early registration through May 29 guarantees a name on a T-shirt and a guaranteed T-shirt; remaining shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration fees are tiered by date: an early fee through May 29, a late online fee through July 3, and a day-of race fee on July 4. All participants must sign a waiver. Race packets and packet pick-up take place at the Center Harbor Town Hall at 36 Main Street on the day before the race and on race day.
Chip bibs are assigned to each runner and race; bibs must be worn on the front and should not be exchanged. Kids races run by age group and award ribbons to all participants. Awards for the adult races are presented at the town bandstand following the final runner. The town schedules other July 4 activities including a parade, a concert and fireworks.
