CCVI Trolley Run
The CCVI Trolley Run is an annual fundraising road race for the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired held in Kansas City. The event includes a USATF-certified 4-mile in-person race and a virtual 4-mile option. There is also a separate kids run for children 10 years of age and younger that uses an untimed bib and includes a Trolley Run shirt and medal.
In-person logistics note the race route goes through Waldo, Brookside, and the Country Club Plaza area. The race start is listed at 75th and Wornall with a finish at Ward Parkway and Central Street on the Country Club Plaza. Race day parking is not available at the start; parking is provided at Country Club Plaza with shuttle transportation to the start line. Shuttle pickup is listed at 400 Nichols Road.
Strollers and wagons are allowed for families with younger children. Animals are not allowed except for service animals.
Packet pick up takes place at Fleet Feet at Ward Parkway Center, 8600 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114, with packet pickup times on the Friday and Saturday before the event.
