CCVI Trolley Run - 39th Annual (2027)

The CCVI Trolley Run returns to the streets of Waldo, Brookside, and the Plaza in Kansas City on April 25, 2027. The event serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired, which provides specialized vision services for children with visual impairments, including those with multiple disabilities, from birth through age 21.

The centerpiece is a USATF-certified 4-mile road race that is held in person and is described as flat and downhill. The event program also includes a kids' run open to children age 10 and under and a virtual 4-mile option, allowing participation off-site.

Event logistics note that strollers are welcome and animals are not permitted except for service animals. Parking is provided at the Country Club Plaza with shuttle transportation to the start area; shuttle pickup details are to be determined. The in-person course starts near 75th & Wornall and finishes near Ward Parkway & Central Street on the Country Club Plaza. Packet pick up is scheduled on the days prior to the race.
