Fall Festival and Run Like the Devil 5K and Fun Run
The Charleston Collegiate School Fall Festival at Kiawah River takes place at Kiawah River, 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, SC 29455. The outdoor festival includes a farmers market with local makers, classic fall festival games for children, live music, food trucks and other vendors. Pets are welcome and must be leashed at all times. General festival admission is free for attendees.
The weekend schedule features two organized runs associated with the festival. Distances offered:
- 5K trail run, chip-timed by Charleston Road Race Services.
- 1 Mile Fun Run/walk.
Pre-registration is required to participate in the 5K or Fun Run. Registrants who register by September 30 are guaranteed a race T-shirt; later registrations may not receive a shirt. Race packet pickup is handled at the event registration table and may include race bibs, T-shirts if applicable, and a sponsor swag bag. The 5K awards prizes to the top three female and top three male finishers, with recognition for top winners in each age group. A separate shirt-only registration option is available for supporters.
Proceeds from the event support the Charleston Collegiate School annual fund, which helps cover classroom supplies, technology, teacher salaries, field trips, and other educational needs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
