CBI Turkey Trot 2026
The Community Building Institute (CBI) hosts the fifth annual Turkey Trot in Downtown Middletown, Ohio, with a 5K (3.1 miles) course that starts on Broad Street and passes by local businesses. The event is a fundraiser; proceeds support CBI’s birth-to-five, out-of-school enrichment, workforce development, family engagement programs, and the Robert 'Sonny' Hill Community Center.
Race registration includes a bib, a swag bag, a participation medal, and a discount at Triple Moon Coffee Company. Registrants who order by Wednesday, October 28, 2026, receive a race t-shirt; shirts are adult sizes only and youth tickets do not include a shirt. Additional shirts can be added to a registration for $10, and extra shirts may be available after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pricing tiers are: Early Bird (August 26 - September 13): $25 Tier 2 (September 14 - October 14): $30 Tier 3 (October 15 - November 14): $35
Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. Parking is available in the adjacent bus station lot and nearby restaurant parking. Participants can compete individually or register as a corporate team; teams of three or more are eligible for a $5 team discount code. Veterans may use the code VETERAN5 for a $5 discount.
Awards include cash prizes for the first three male and first three female finishers ($300, $200, $100) and age-group medals for first place in multiple categories. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the corporate team with the lowest average runtime. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
