Event Overview

The event is the 19th Annual CB Greer Shark Run, taking place on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The event is held in Brunswick, Georgia, at the address 695 Harry Driggers Blvd.

Events and Distances

There are six separate events:

Shark Run 5k for adults.
Jake McHargue One Mile Run for adults.
Under 18 Shark Run 5k for participants younger than 18.
Under 18 Jake McHargue One Mile Run for participants younger than 18.
Shark Double, which combines the 5k and the mile run.
Under 18 Shark Double, which combines the 5k and the mile run for participants younger than 18.

Awards are given for both distances. The 5k features awards for overall and masters winners, as well as numerous age groups ranging from 7 and under to 80+. The one-mile run has awards for age groups 0-5, 6-8, 9-11, 12-15, and 16+.
