Event overview

The CB Greer Shark Run is scheduled for February 21, 2026, in Brunswick, Georgia. It is the 19th annual running of the event. All proceeds will support CB Greer Elementary School's PTA. Distances and entries

The program includes a Shark Run 5k, a one mile run, Under 18 divisions for both distances, a Shark Double that combines the 5k and the mile, and an Under 18 Shark Double. Entry fees listed on the registration page are $35 for the 5k, $30 for the one mile, $20 for the Under 18 5k, $15 for the Under 18 one mile, $50 for the Shark Double, and $30 for the Under 18 Shark Double. Registration closes on the event date.

Awards

The 5k has awards by gender and age groups: Overall, Masters, 7 and under, 8-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. The one mile has awards for age groups 0-5, 6-8, 9-11, 12-15, and 16+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
