Caveman Triathlon
The Caveman Triathlon is a one-day event in Flower Mound, Texas on May 3, 2026. It offers a sprint triathlon with the following distances:
- 275 yard swim
- 10.8 mile bike
- 3.1 mile run
There are multiple triathlon categories listed: Age Group, Athena for females 165 pounds and over, and Clydesdale for males 220 pounds and over. A separate CaveMan 5K Run/Walk uses the same 5K course as the triathlon.
Registration opens August 28, 2025 and closes December 1, 2025. The triathlon entry fee is listed as $65.00 and the 5K entry fee is listed as $24.00.
Additional packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Trailhead Running Supply, 2600 Lakeside Parkway Suite 140, Flower Mound, TX 75022. All participants receive race items including a short sleeve custom tech shirt, a pair of event socks, and a finisher medal.
The event includes a weather policy. In inclement conditions the start may be delayed by up to one hour. If needed the course may be shortened or altered, and the event may be cancelled.
