Caveman Roar n' Pour 5K Trail Fun Run/Walk and Wine Tasting Event
The Caveman Roar n' Pour is a 5K trail run and walk taking place on April 25, 2026 at Cave B Estate Winery, 348 Silica Rd NW, Quincy, WA 98848. The course wanders through vineyards and a sage dotted desert plateau with views of the Columbia River and finishes on the winery front lawn outside the tasting room. Registered participants receive a racing bib and are given water plus a wine glass and tasting tickets for four Cave B wines; wine samples are available only to participants aged 21 and older in compliance with state liquor law.
Terrain is uneven and rocky in places. Registration closes April 17, 2026 and there is no day of registration. Registration completed by March 16, 2026 guarantees a long sleeve racing T shirt; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt. There are two pricing categories listed: ages 21 and older and ages 8 to 20.
Preordered lunches from Friend's Riviera are available and must be ordered by April 17, 2026. Lunch choices include a harvest steak salad, a smoked salmon salad, or a Mediterranean bowl; each meal includes the main entree, a roll and butter, Carmelita bars, a water bottle and utensils. Participants may also bring their own picnic, but no outside alcohol is allowed on the premises.
Proceeds and donations support the Stage B Amphitheater to help present free summer concerts. Every participant must sign a waiver. Costume awards and team awards are part of the event, including categories for best costume, best team theme and spirit for teams of four to six people, and best human and dog combo.
