Sunland Estates 5k Run/Walk
The Sunland Estates 5k Run/Walk is held in Quincy, Washington, as part of a series of community activities. Participants can choose to jog, run, or walk through the Sunland Estates neighborhood. The event features a 5 km distance and includes a timing bib for those interested in their performance data.
In addition to the running race, several other sports and community events take place over the weekend. These include a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, volleyball, a cornhole tournament, and two levels of pickleball competitions. A chess tournament with 10-minute timed games is also hosted in the outdoor seating area of the local restaurant.
Registration for the 5 km race includes an official dry-fit race shirt, though sizes are only guaranteed for those who register by mid June. While online registration is available until early July, in-person registration is also offered during the packet pick-up session on the Friday before the race. There is no registration available on the morning of the event.

The various tournaments held throughout the weekend have different requirements for team sizes, ranging from pairs for cornhole and pickleball to teams of six for volleyball.
