City of Hammond ordinance requires pit bull and pit bull mix dogs to wear a harness and a muzzle while in the public way; basket muzzles are allowed. Female dogs in heat, puppies under 12 weeks, and aggressive dogs are prohibited from the event. All pets must be on a leash.
