Cat's Tail Trail Marathon
The 12th annual Cat's Tail Trail Marathon is a point to point trail race of 26 miles near Shandaken, NY in the Slide Mountain Wilderness Area of the Catskill Mountains. The course includes nearly 7,000 feet of vertical gain and covers terrain ranging from rolling ridgelines to technical, rocky sections.
The event is a nonprofit fundraiser with proceeds supporting Run Wild, Inc. Race services include multiple aid stations, participant swag, and post race refreshments. A 25 percent registration discount is offered for veterans and first responders.
The event uses the Ultra SignUp Refund Guarantee. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event are eligible for an 80 percent refund including taxes and fees.
