Catch the Leprechaun 5K takes place on March 14, 2026 in Mount Pleasant, SC. The main event is a 5K (3.1 miles). The event program includes a Post Race After Party (non-runners), a free Kids 10 & Under entry (untimed and no shirt or post-race swag for the free entry), and a members-only entry for Racers for Pacers. Course and logistics
The race begins and ends at Blue Sky Endurance at Carolina Park, 3510 Park Avenue Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC 29466. The course is USATF certified, flat, and on pavement, following Park Avenue Boulevard to Darrell Creek Trail and back. A water station will be located at the intersection of Darrell Creek Trail and Faulkner Drive. Baby joggers and strollers are allowed; dogs and bikes are not. Packet pickup is provided at Blue Sky Endurance at Carolina Park before and on race day. Packets will not be mailed.
Awards, amenities and policies
Finishers receive a commemorative medal and a race t-shirt (shirt availability not guaranteed for registrations after March 9). The event offers free post-race food and beverages and live music. Awards include Pots 'o Gold for overall top finishers, Masters and Grandmasters, and age-group awards spanning 14 and under through 90 and over. Additional prizes are listed for costume and group categories. Proceeds benefit Racers for Pacers. The event has a no-refund, no-transfer-to-next-year policy; entries may be transferred to another person before registration closes. Rain will not cancel the event unless visibility or safety is compromised; lightning triggers 30-minute postponements when thunder is heard within six miles.
