Castle Trail

The Castle Trail, organized by Essex Trail Events, is a self-navigation trail race held at Stansted Mountfitchet Castle in Essex on May 18, 2025. Participants can choose between two distances: approximately 13.1 miles or 6.2 miles. The race uses a written route description provided on the day, with no course markings, marshals, or GPS support, emphasizing navigation skills.
