Hever Castle Multisport Weekend
The Hever Castle Multisport Weekend takes place on 26 and 27 September 2026 within the Hever Castle estate in Kent. The event programme includes triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, swim and run races plus relay team options and a festival village in the castle grounds.
Distances and key race formats include:
- Gauntlet triathlon: 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, 21 km run
- Olympic triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10.5 km run
- Sprint and Super Sprint triathlon distances and starter options
- Junior triathlons for ages 9 to 16 with shorter swim, bike and run legs
- Duathlon middle, standard and sprint formats with run and bike legs
- Aquabike standard and sprint, plus aquathlon standard and sprint
- Run series: marathon, half marathon and 10K
- Open water swim races: 5 km, 2.5 km and 1 mile
Junior races cover ages 9–16 and use a multi terrain bike course; off-road tyres are advised for juniors. The Sunday aquabike is designated as a 2027 World Championship Standard Distance Aquabike Qualifier and the event is a British Triathlon permitted meeting; participants must hold the appropriate BTF membership or day race pass.
The weekend includes access to the castle gardens and a festival village with live music, shopping, food and children’s entertainment. Camping pitches are available in the castle grounds. The event partners with Alzheimer’s Research UK and offers charity entry places with a fundraising pledge.
