Hever Castle Multisport Weekend
The Hever Castle Multisport Weekend is held within the historic Hever Castle estate in Kent and stages multiple multisport and swim/run events across the castle grounds and surrounding countryside. The programme includes triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, Swim Series and Run Series races, plus relay options and junior triathlon races for ages 9 to 16.
Race formats range from short starter and junior distances up to longer events such as the Gauntlet and Olympic formats. Example race distances include a Gauntlet with a 1.9K swim / 90K bike / 21K run, and an Olympic format with a 1.5K swim / 40K bike / 10.5K run. There are separate swim and run races, including a 5K swim and road races up to marathon distance.
The event is a British Triathlon permitted event and includes a World Championship Standard Distance Aquabike qualifier. Triathlon and multisport entrants must hold British Triathlon membership or purchase a day pass where required. Water quality testing is published for swim use.
On-site features for athletes and spectators include an event village with live music, shopping, food and drink options, children's entertainment and yoga. Photographers are positioned around the course and finish area, and all participants receive a finisher medal with podium presentations for each race.
