Piedmont - Cartersville Breast Cancer Boo Run 5K
This event takes place on October 31, 2026 at Hamilton Crossing Park in Cartersville, Georgia, and is presented by Piedmont Cartersville as the first annual Breast Cancer Boo Run. The program includes two distances:

- 1 Mile Wellness Walk
The event focuses on breast cancer awareness. It notes that breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the U.S. and emphasizes that early detection is critical. During breast cancer awareness month the event advises women age 40 or over and those age 30 if at higher risk to schedule mammograms and clinical breast exams, and to perform regular breast self-exams.
The course is described as a new, fast, flat route within Hamilton Crossing Park and incorporates a Halloween costume theme for participants. Net proceeds will benefit breast cancer patients at Piedmont Oncology - Cartersville.
Registration details include a pre-registration deadline of October 25 to guarantee T-shirt size and reduced fees; listed preregistration fees are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Wellness Walk, with higher rates offered for race day registration. Pre-registered participants may pick up race packets on the Friday before the event at The Hope Center at Piedmont Cartersville. There is free race day parking at Hamilton Crossing Park.
