Carlisle Remembrance Run
The Carlisle Remembrance Run is a community event in Carlisle scheduled for Saturday 7 November 2026 that raises funds for the Royal British Legion. The event takes place the day before Remembrance Sunday and focuses on remembrance and community support for current and former Armed Forces personnel.
Distances offered:
- 5 km Remembrance Run, manually timed
- 2 km Fun Run/Walk, not timed, suitable for families
Entry includes a commemorative medal, a race number, and refreshments at the finish. Participants are encouraged to wear red or poppy-themed clothing in honour of Remembrance. The event is non-competitive and does not offer winners’ prizes.
The organisers aim for 100% of entry fees, excluding the cost of the medal, to be donated to the Royal British Legion.
