About the race
The Carlisle Autumn Duathlon is a sprint-distance event held at Carlisle Lake District Airport. The course is traffic-free for the running segments and uses quiet country roads for the cycling segment. The event consists of a 5 km run, a 19.3 km bike ride, and a 2.5 km run.
It is open to participants aged 15 and over. There is chip timing, and prizes are awarded for the first three male and female finishers, as well as age group winners. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Light refreshments are available after the event, and free parking is provided at the airport.
