About the race
Care Cuts, Inc. will present the inaugural Dignity Dash, a community running and walking event on November 14, 2026, at the Wysor Street Depot and Cardinal Greenway in Muncie, Indiana. The venue and course are subject to final approval.
The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile community walk
Registration is $25 per participant and includes an event T-shirt, a race bib, and post-event refreshments. Sponsorship opportunities are described with tiered benefits: event sponsors receive race day T-shirts and publicity on site and online, while main event sponsors receive additional shirts, speaking rights, website and signage advertising, and placement in an annual donor report.
Proceeds support Care Cuts’ programs that provide free haircuts and hygiene kits to people facing financial hardship and other barriers to basic grooming and personal care. In 2026 Care Cuts served more than 350 people, provided over $1,200 in free haircuts, and distributed approximately $2,000 in hygiene kits.
