Burris Hoot Scoot 2025

The Burris Hoot Scoot 2025 is scheduled for September 19, 2026, at Burris East Lawn, 2201 W University Ave, Muncie, IN 47306. This is the fourth annual running of the event. The program includes a 5K, a 1-mile, an Owlet Dash for young children, and a shirt-only option. New 5K and 1-mile courses are in place for 2025. The event features post-race festivities and on-site food vendors.

Entry fees listed in the event information are $25 for adult 5K and adult 1-mile entries, $15 for student 5K and student 1-mile entries, $10 for the Owlet Dash, and $15 for the shirt-only option. Registration opens January 5, 2026. Registration by August 15 guarantees a 2025 Hoot Scoot t-shirt; supplies are limited after that. Proceeds benefit the Burris Owls PTSO, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports Burris Laboratory School through teacher grants, community events, scholarships, and other programs.
