Cardinia Fun Run & Walk takes place on 1 March 2026 at Deep Creek Reserve, Cameron Way, Pakenham VIC. The event supports the Cardinia Community Foundation and aims to raise funds for vulnerable members of the local community. The course flows through reserve wetlands alongside the golf course and park. Bib collection is on the day at the registration desk. All children must be supervised by an adult guardian. Dogs may spectate and may participate in the 5km walk when on a leash. Prams are permitted in the 5km walk.
Race format and prizes
The program includes multiple run and walk options:

- 5 km Run
- O'Connor 5 km Walk
- Gumbuya World 2.5 km Kids Colour Run
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third place in the 10 km and 5 km runs for male and female categories. Children also have first, second and third place awards for the kids 10 km and kids 5 km runs, male and female. A participation medal is provided for all participants.
