About the race
Cardinia Fun Run & Walk 2027 is a community running and walking event held at Deep Creek Reserve, Cameron Way, Pakenham. The event raises funds for the Cardinia Community Foundation and includes a mix of timed runs, a family walk, and a colour run for children.
The course flows through reserve wetlands alongside a golf course and passes an all access park and playground. The event program includes multiple distances and a kids colour run. Participation medals are provided for all entrants and placings are awarded for top finishers in the 10 km and 5 km runs across male and female categories, plus kids categories.
Event logistics note bib and t-shirt collection is available in the week before the event at Cardinia Life in Pakenham and also at the registration desk on event day. The 5 km walk welcomes prams and dogs; dogs must be on a leash. All children must be supervised by an adult guardian. Sponsors include Cardinia Foundation, Cardinia Life and Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre.
