Event Overview
The Gumbuya World Running Festival takes place on Sunday, 12 April 2026 at Gumbuya World Theme Park in Tynong North, Victoria. It is approximately a 50-minute drive southeast of Melbourne's CBD. The event features road running races on closed roads through the Victorian countryside.

Participants can choose from three distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
Course and Schedule
The course starts at Gumbuya World, heading north along Brew Road towards Tynong Quarry. Runners turn back at the halfway mark on Mintern Road and finish inside the theme park. The 10 km race starts at 7:30 am, the 5 km at 7:45 am, and the 2 km Family Dash at 8:00 am. A cut-off time of 1 hour and 35 minutes applies to the 10 km event.
Inclusions and Features
Every race entry includes full-day access to Gumbuya World's attractions, including water slides, roller coasters, and wildlife exhibits. Runners get exclusive early park access from 8:30 am, before it opens to the general public at 11:00 am. Each participant receives a themed finisher's medal, sponsor giveaways, post-race refreshments, a personalised finisher's certificate, and free race day photographs. The event is professionally chip-timed.
For the 2 km Family Dash, a registered child can be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult receives park access but is not timed and does not receive a finisher's medal.
