About the race
Gumbuya World Running Festival is a road-closed running event held at Gumbuya World Theme Park in Tynong North, Victoria. The event offers races on a scenic course that runs north from the park along Brew Road toward Tyrnong Quarry, turning at a halfway point and finishing inside the theme park.

Race entries include full-day access to all park attractions, early exclusive access for runners and spectators before the general public, and chip timing by Multisport Australia. Every participant receives a themed medal, sponsor giveaways, post-race refreshments, a personalised finisher’s certificate, and free race day photos. Multiple water stations are positioned on course and provide water and Tailwind Nutrition. The 2 km Family Dash allows an accompanying adult who will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal; both child and accompanying adult receive park entry. There is a cut-off time of 1 hour and 35 minutes for the 10 km to allow roads to reopen.
