Cape Girardeau ONE & DONE 1-mile Race
The Cape Girardeau ONE & DONE is a USATF certified 1-mile road race held within Arena Park in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The event is timed and uses wave starts based on estimated finish time submitted at registration; participants who register on race day may be required to start in the last wave. Non-registered pacers are not allowed. The event is organized by the Cape Girardeau Road Runners and is held to raise funds that support area youth running programs and the adult running community.
Entry fees are listed with a standard adult fee and a reduced fee for children 14 and under. Shirt orders are optional and must be placed by May 20; there will be no post-race shirt orders. Packet pickup is available Friday, June 5 at Missouri Running Company and on race morning at Arena Park. Race day registration has a cutoff time on event day. Awards are presented to Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, and first through third place in 10 year age groups divided by sex with age brackets 0-7, 8-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Races are conducted rain, snow, or shine except in cases of severe weather or unsafe conditions. In the event of cancellation due to weather, no refunds or credits are issued and shirts ordered will still be distributed. No pets may participate except service animals.
