Cape Fear Christmas Wine Run 5K
This event takes place at Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery in Elizabethtown, North Carolina on November 28, 2026. The main race is a 5K that starts and finishes at the winery. The course is cross country style, mostly grass, with some mildly challenging terrain and is open to both runners and walkers.
Distances and options:
- 5K - cross country style course, mostly grass, registration fee $30
- 3.1 Miles - volunteer plus run option, registration fee $15
Registration windows are provided for each event: the 5K registration opens on October 6, 2026 and closes on October 20, 2026; the volunteer and run option opens on October 6, 2026 and closes on October 19, 2026. Registration for the 5K includes a T-shirt with an optional hoodie upgrade for $10, a plastic wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a chip timed race bib. A pour of wine is included after the run or walk. Results will be posted online.
